All the business advice out there tells you that one of the most important factors in business is consistency.

Message. Platforms. Communication. Offers. Business offerings.

Apparently, they all need to be consistent. 😱😱😱😱

Now, I don’t know about you, but I don’t do consistency well,

I’m all in when I’m in. And then I’ll be all in about forgetting about it entirely.

It’s not exactly helpful when you want to grow and nurture your email list is it?

So how can you ensure you can keep up with emailing your list?

Here are some tips that I find helpful

Make it sustainable

Emailing daily might work for Ryan Holiday, but that doesn’t mean you have to do it. Maybe you email weekly. Maybe it’s every other week. Perhaps it’s monthly. It doesn’t matter. What matter is that it’s at a pace you can keep up with.

Supportive accountability

Find someone who understands your ADHD, but will hold you to your commitment, and ask them to check in with you. Maybe part of a group, or a friend. Perhaps you can support them too?

Schedule it!

Yes, I know, ADHD and scheduling doesn’t always work. But my Google calendar has changed my life. If it’s in there, I’ve at least got a fighting chance of doing it! Get it in the diary, give future you a chance!

Repurpose

You don’t need to write new content for everything. Did you write a great blog post? Use that for your email! This essay will form part of my email content for today’s newsletter (and Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn post!). Not everyone sees your content, this helps get more eyes on it!

What other hacks do you use to maintain your marketing efforts?
