All the business advice out there tells you that one of the most important factors in business is consistency.
Message. Platforms. Communication. Offers. Business offerings.
Apparently, they all need to be consistent. š±š±š±š±
Now, I donāt know about you, but I donāt do consistency well,
Iām all in when Iām in. And then Iāll be all in about forgetting about it entirely.
Itās not exactly helpful when you want to grow and nurture your email list is it?
So how can you ensure you can keep up with emailing your list?
Here are some tips that I find helpful
Make it sustainable
Emailing daily might work for Ryan Holiday, but that doesnāt mean you have to do it. Maybe you email weekly. Maybe itās every other week. Perhaps itās monthly. It doesnāt matter. What matter is that itās at a pace you can keep up with.
Supportive accountability
Find someone who understands your ADHD, but will hold you to your commitment, and ask them to check in with you. Maybe part of a group, or a friend. Perhaps you can support them too?
Schedule it!
Yes, I know, ADHD and scheduling doesnāt always work. But my Google calendar has changed my life. If itās in there, Iāve at least got a fighting chance of doing it! Get it in the diary, give future you a chance!
Repurpose
You donāt need to write new content for everything. Did you write a great blog post? Use that for your email! This essay will form part of my email content for todayās newsletter (and Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn post!). Not everyone sees your content, this helps get more eyes on it!
What other hacks do you use to maintain your marketing efforts?
